Arriving today (12/9) on Bad Ass Records, the six-song debut features a mix of classic and cutting-edge Country sounds, all co-written by Parker and produced by GRAMMY Award-winner Blake Chancey (The Chicks’ Wide Open Spaces, Fly).
Smoke-and-honey vocals tell stories filled with rowdy fun, quiet toughness, and life-changing love, as ‘Hits Home’ pairs three previously released tracks with three fresh cuts: “Beer By Beer,” Hits Home,” and “Godsend.”
“When it comes to making music, it takes hard work and patience. I’ve worked on these songs day in and day out! I’m so excited the world gets to hear what I’ve been pouring my heart and soul into. The culmination of years of effort, ‘Hits Home’ caps a 2022 packed with music from the new talent and follows up the release of three earlier singles. “Good Beer Drinkin’,” “Caught Me at a Good Time,” and “Up for Anything” were all dropped earlier this year, each one mixing traditional Country twang and in-the-moment energy to present a fresh face with big-time believers.
A lifelong Country lover who paid his honky-tonk dues with hundreds of shows on Nashville’s vibrant Lower Broadway and beyond, Parker is signed to EM.Co – the management firm behind superstar Tim McGraw – and McGraw’s publishing company, Free Dive, in partnership with TriScore Music.
Along with his new music, Parker also hit the road this year, playing to massive crowds at TidalWave Music Festival, Milwaukee’s SummerFest, CMA Fest, and more while earning praise from outlets like Billboard, American Songwriter, MusicRow, CMT.com, and others.
