HAIR-OF-THE-DOG HONKY-TONKER FOLLOWS HIS TENDER “YOUR BABY GIRL”

HIGHLIGHT APPEARANCES COMING UP AT WATERSHED MUSIC FESTIVAL (8/5) AND SUPPORTING TIM MCGRAW (8/17)

Nashville, Tenn. (July 14, 2023) – Adding to his tab as one of Country’s most intoxicating new talents, Landon Parker shares a hair-of-the-dog honky-tonker as his next single, powering through a hangover on the freewheeling “Back At The Bar.”

Out today (7/14) and co-written by the North Carolina native with Carlo Colascacco, the forever young party anthem tributes those weekend warriors who get knocked down one night – only to get back on the barstool the next.

With an ice cold electric-guitar crunch and pounding drums, Parker pours his top shelf traditional vocal into a good-timing buzz of refreshing storytelling, all about turning woozy days into wild nights – and the pursuit of glory-days fun.

Produced by Blake Chancey, the track has already proved itself a favorite of Parker’s live shows, and as the rising star sings of throwing caution to the wind (and throwing back drinks), his fans often sing along. It’s both an uptempo blast of corner-bar twang, and arm-in-arm croon with a tipsy sway.
“This song has been killing it in our set for years, and I’m so excited to finally have it out,” shares Parker. “‘Back At The Bar’ is a story about good times with good friends and all those crazy nights you wouldn’t trade for anything, no matter how painful tomorrow’s gonna be.”

Showcasing another side of Parker, “Back At The Bar” marks the follow up to tender “Your Baby Girl” – a family-focused ballad which earned acclaim from PEOPLE and Country Now, plus spotlights from E! News, Entertainment Tonight and more.

Part of a fast-growing catalog with mainstream appeal, both tracks arrive on the heels of Parker’s February EP, The Acoustic Sessions, Vol 1., and his 2022 debut via Bad Ass Records, Hits Home EP.
A modern-Country artist with dynamic, classically-minded vocals and sharp song-crafting instincts, Parker co-wrote each track on Hits Home, which was also produced by Chancey (GRAMMY Award-winning producer of The Chicks, Randy Houser, Montgomery Gentry), and helped put the newcomer on the map with praise from outlets like American Songwriter, MusicRow and Country Evolution.
Currently performing all over Nashville’s vibrant honky-tonk scene and at festivals across the country, highpoint tour stops this summer include an August 5 appearance at Washington state’s Watershed Music Festival, and an opening slot with Tim McGraw on August 17 as his profile continues to build.
