LANDON PARKER SHOWS A SOFTER SIDE ON “TENNESSEE CHRISTMAS”
EMERGING COUNTRY TALENT MATCHES VELVETY TWANG WITH CLASSIC CHRISTMAS NOSTALGIA

DEBUT EP PRODUCED BY THE CHICKS’ GRAMMY WINNER BLAKE CHANCEY OUT THIS FRIDAY (12/9)
NASHVILLE, TENN. (December 5, 2022) — Emerging Country talent Landon Parker trades his cowboy hat for a Santa’s cap on “Tennessee Christmas,” showcasing a softer side with his latest release.
Out now and full of tender twang, Parker puts a warm-and-cozy spin on the Christmastime Country classic, co-written and first released by Amy Grant in 1983. With legendary Muscle Shoals piano man Clayton Ivey, and one of Country music’s most prolific arrangers Bergen White, twinkling piano melodies and angelic strings join the North Carolina native’s rich baritone vocal for a velvety sweep of holiday nostalgia, with Christmas memories as fresh and crisp as a new snow.
“I grew up in North Carolina, but ‘Tennessee Christmas’ has a whole new meaning to me now that I have a little girl,” Parker says. “Planting our roots in Tennessee, this is her first Christmas, so we had to put our own spin on the song. We went for a more timeless sound, and I think we nailed it.”

As the holidays arrive, there’s plenty more music on the horizon – even after a year packed with milestones for the up-and-coming star.
A lifelong Country fan who mixes classic and cutting-edge sounds, Parker paid his honky-tonk dues with hundreds of shows on Nashville’s vibrant Lower Broadway, and is now signed to both EM.Co – the management firm behind superstar Tim McGraw – and McGraw’s publishing company, Free Dive, in partnership with TriScore Music.
In 2022 he released a three pack of debut singles – “Good Beer Drinkin’,” “Caught Me at a Good Time” and “Up for Anything” – each one mixing traditional twang and modern energy in different ways.
Meanwhile, Parker has also hit the road, playing to massive crowds at TidalWave Music Festival, Milwaukee’s SummerFest, CMA Fest and more while earning praise from outlets like Billboard, American Songwriter, MusicRow, CMT.com and others. But there’s big things in store as 2022 winds down.
Working with GRAMMY Award-winning producer Blake Chancey (The Chicks’ Wide Open Spaces, Fly), Parker’s debut EP is set to release this Friday (12/9).
